FPL Corner: Season 2024/2025 GW 7 Recap and Strategies

Hello FPL Enthusiasts,

       Scoring 45 points with Haaland as captain resulted in a disappointing performance and a drop in rankings during game week 6. Four players contributed to the score : Salah scored one goal and received the maximum bonus points, Mbeumo scored one goal and earned two bonus points, Jackson provided one assist, and Rogers scored one goal.

In the latest FPL game week, I made some poor choices and experienced a major setback. I should have selected Salah as my captain. Instead of Saka, I should have kept Palmer, who performed exceptionally well by scoring four goals. Despite Arsenal scoring four goals, Saka failed to deliver any returns. While my defense requires some enhancements, I have decided to address this matter later. I utilized my two free transfers and below you can see my team after making these changes.

I made transfers ahead of schedule because of price fluctuations. Palmer has returned, and I've swapped Smith-Rowe for McNeil. Given that Fulham will face City, McNeil appears to be the sensible option. I'm planning to captain Haaland😀, with Palmer as vice-captain for the time being. However, I might switch the captaincy to Salah easily. Let's wait and see.
